AC Milan are considering whether to try and sign Serge Aurier from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to and their branch in Italy.
The right-back arrived to north London in 2017 and had to compete for the place in the team with Kieran Trippier for two years, before the latter made his move to Atletico Madrid last summer. This season, Aurier found it much easier to get game-time, making a total of 42 appearances in all competitions. He was recently in the centre of media attention when he showed great professionalism and mental strength following the death of his brother in France.
At the moment, Milan have Andrea Conti and Davide Calabria competing for the place on the right defensive flank, but they might end up selling one of them. In that case, their interest in the 27-year-old Spurs man would be expected to turn into concrete steps towards the transfer.
They could, however, face competition from AS Monaco.
